Apresentando seu toque único para o hit pop de 1984, “You Might Think” (composta por Ric Ocasek e originalmente interpretada pela banda The Cars) está a banda de rock alternativo americana multi-platina em vendas e sempre no topo das paradas, Weezer. A banda chamou a atenção em 1992, e já produziu nove álbuns até o momento. “A música vai tocar na cena onde Relâmpago McQueen e Mate vão ao Japão”, diz o guitarrista Brian Bell, “o que é ótimo para nós porque de certo modo reflete a nossa experiência no Japão – houve um pouco de choque cultural”. Bell disse que a banda ficou surpresa com a complexidade da canção. “Quando nós realmente nos aprofundamos na música, percebemos a genialidade do arranjo e como essas partes relativamente simplistas trabalhavam juntas para criar esse incrível tecido sonoro”.

A Trilha Sonora de Carros 2 está disponível nas lojas desde de 15 de Junho. ;)
